1- We are using more quantity of single use disposable plastic, in packaging, and in our daily living- poly bags, cups, plates, bottle, consumer goods packing etc. But in similar way we are not responsibly disposing them for recycling, thereby plastic is ending up in land fills and polluting water resources 2- Presently compostable alternative available are either imported or priced very expensive by domestic manufacturer. This is because there is not grass root level technology available that can help mass produce raw materials for compostable packaging. 25 Indian states have banned single use plastic packaging and there is a very big supply gap available right now in the country that can be address to 3- Government is trying to find solution to control the agro waste burning, and forest bio mass burning that are causing heave air pollution and other respiratory diseases. But most of the efforts are presently short-term immediate solution of cutting and stocking the agro waste which is a labour and energy intensive activity. Such measures can only be successful with commercial linkages to user of collected agro waste and into application that can consume such large qty of raw material. Otherwise all government efforts will fail once subsidy is withdrawn as we have witnessed in the past schemes. 4- We plan to implement our pulping technology at farm level by making it zero discharge non polluting process. For every ton of material processed, 10 jobs will be created and additional indirect jobs in collections and logistics will be created.
