Boldfit is a D2C health & fitness e-commerce brand based out of Bengaluru. The company, incepted in January 2019, manufactures and sells online a wide variety of quality products in the health & fitness space across India. Apart from selling through its own website (www.boldfit.in), Boldfit has also enlisted its products on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart, HealthXP, Paytm Mall, etc. As the name of the company rightly suggests, Boldfit provides its customers top-quality fitness gear and nutritional supplements, so as to help people feel and perform/work-out in their boldest avatars and eventually become the fittest version of themselves! Team Boldfit strongly believes in the age-old philosophy that the body is our Temple; and keeping that in mind, curates best-in-class fitness accessories to suit the needs of modern Indians and help them achieve a fit and healthy body and mind with Boldfit’s products. Boldfit was founded by Pallav Bihani -- a young entrepreneur and hardcore fitness enthusiast -- with the core mission to provide excellent-quality and affordable fitness-related products dedicated towards the constantly growing fitness community in our country. In a bid to ensure the highest levels of quality, Boldfit does strict quality checks for all of its products across the production value chain and supply chain. The company also works closely with some of the country’s reputed nutritionists, trainers and fitness coaches in to understand and curate products that are of the highest-quality and in-demand. From initially selling only one product type, i.e. Yoga mats in early 2019, Boldfit has come a long way, expanding and growing its portfolio to over 30 personal health & fitness products as of date. Currently, Boldfit offers its products under 3 major categories, namely: Fitness & Yoga, Nutrition, and Health & Wellness. A brief overview of the various products launched by Boldfit so far is given below: Home fitness & gym accessories : Boldfit has a complete range of home fitness products and accessories such as yoga mats, resistance bands, tubes, exercise grips &shakers. The startup has a core vision of having a complete range of standardised and quality checked home exercise accessories and equipments at affordable pricing Nutritional supplements & Vitamins : Boldfit has a complete range of nutritional supplements such as vitamins, protein powders, effervescence drinks & a lot more. The startup caters to a wide range of consumer groups from athletes and gym enthusiast to the general population. The startup is now one of the fastest growing nutra brands on Amazon. ▪ Health & Wellness Products: In view of the ‘new normal’ ushered in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, Boldfit has recently launched its latest products in the form of N-95 Masks and Hand Sanitizers (in collaboration with its parent company Sasvat Group). In the last 20 months or so, Boldfit has successfully delivered more than 2,00,000 product orders across various cities of India. Astonishingly the start up delivers one order every minute in the country. Emboldened by the increased interest towards personal health, immunity and fitness after the Covid pandemic started, Boldfit has witnessed exponential growth in the past few months. The founder Pallav Bihani says this growth is because of the adoption in e-commerce and India is now on the verge of exponential e-commerce growth. He says e-commerce is no more the future but the present of modern retail. The bangalore based startup has grown 800% YoY and is expected to maintain a healthy double digit growth rate month on month. In terms of revenue, Boldfit is on its way to achieve over 30 crores in revenue by the end of the current fiscal year and 100 crores+ by 2022. In the near future, the start-up is looking to further expand its catalogue (products as well as product variants) multi-fold times and explore the international markets. Over the long term, Boldfit aims to become the largest and the most-trusted D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) fitness e-commerce company in India.
