The focus of the start-up is to work towards precision technology and conservation agriculture by providing low-cost affordable solutions to increase productivity and reduce waste. Our first product is a machine to collect buds from the sugarcane stalks automatically and at 8 times faster rate. These buds can later be planted as seeds, saving 90% of seed cost and increasing productivity by 20% over the traditional practice. Installed with an automatic feeding mechanism, it detects the bud by capturing its image and separates it from the stalk through pneumatic cutting. It facilitates single-bud plantation method of sugarcane.
