Boxplank aims to revolutionize the space by addressing each of its key problems The first problem that the industry faces is quality control, since most of the industry is dominated by small carpenters, the work provided is often inconsistent and imprecise due to human error. The inability to execute a perfect job each time leads to the wastage of a customer’s time Boxplank solves this problem by selling completely factory-finished furniture. This not only ensures the highest quality and consistency but also ensures that there is less wastage due to mistakes. Boxplank holds the values of conservation as core ideals of the company and as such we ensure all our products and their manufacturers are certified green by various industry standards such as FSC The second problem Boxplank solves is one of limited product discovery. Finding the right product at the right price is difficult given the informal sector. Customers have never had a one-stop-shop for affordable yet high-quality furniture that is locally produced. Before Boxplank, customers would be forced to choose between sub-par furniture products or paying an extremely high price for imported furniture which in no way benefit local economies. In just six months, Boxplank has gained a huge amount of market traction, with interior designers, architects, and customers already swearing by the company. As such, Boxplank has drawn up plans to expand to 2 cities (Hyderabad and Chennai) in the next 2 years and a further two cities (Kochin and Mumbai) in the two years after that. Our model has proven hugely scalable, with suppliers and supply chains being able to meet the exponentially increased number of orders.
