In an age of cyber technology and mass-produced molded products, it is rewarding to craft, with our own hands, a work of personal expression made from a natural material. We endeavor to preserve and promote indigenous talents and provide a sustainable livelihood for tribal & rural artisans. The traditional crafts and designs are based on Indian culture and ancient scriptures, the richness of ideas, the brilliant combination of pure simplicity and glamour combined with the master craftsmanship of our ancient heritage. CountryCraft is primarily a research based enterprise and promoting crafts for export. We are a social enterprise working across India with a mission to foster inclusive and sustainable development using culture-based approaches. Our venture endeavors to solve multi-faceted problems of artisans: 1. Identify and Contain the depleting craft 2. Sustain the craft by encouraging the artisans by giving employment opportunity 3. Cross skilling in the village cluster so that the craft is spread among multiple artisans 4. Create GI code for the craft mapping the origin village cluster of the craft 5. Artisans take pride in their craftsmanship and avoid menial jobs 6. Promote cultural heritage through craft in foreign shores
