C-DISC Technologies Pvt Ltd (Center for Development of Innovative & Sustainable Construction Technologies) is a Kerala-based deeptech construction startup transforming the built environment through sustainable, prefabricated, and modular solutions. The startup is incubated at IIT Kanpur and NIT Calicut. Founded by civil engineer Er. Jeesh Venmarath, C-DISC is the innovator behind the PEN Foundation (Pre-Engineered Nail Foundation) and Modular Net Zero Energy (MNZE) Homes— two groundbreaking systems designed for speed, sustainability, and climate resilience. The PEN Foundation is a patented, tree-root-inspired technology that avoids deep excavation, preserves groundwater, and offers rapid deployment, making it ideal for sloped, remote, or ecologically sensitive terrains. MNZE Homes, on the other hand, are prefabricated dwellings embedded with renewable energy, smart automation, and water management systems, offering energy independence and the potential to break even in 15 to 25 years. C-DISC has been recognized nationally and internationally, winning awards such as the GRIHA Valuable Contributor Award 2025 and the SSMB Award for Best Commercial Steel Structure for the Devagiri College Library. The startup has strategic partnerships with organizations like Greenr Accelerator (IKEA & VISA Foundation) and Habitat for Humanity’s Terwilliger Center. C-DISC’s vision goes beyond construction—it’s building a climate-resilient ecosystem powered by digital design, smart living, and carbon-credit-linked infrastructure under the banner: “From Soil, We Rise – Faster.
