Innovation Carbon Masters is a carbon management company to reduce carbon impact and adapt to inevitable climate change by replacing fossil fuel consumption with innovative, clean energy solutions. Carbonlites gas is India’s first branded bio-CNG product successfully sold to restaurants for commercial cooking displacing LPG. It is packaged in specially designed cylinders and cascades that enable a seamless and safe transition from LPG. Carbon Masters was recently awarded the WWF climate solver award for Carbonlites initiative. Improvement Carbonlites bio-CNG has methane content of 92% and is 100% gaseous form. It, therefore, provides a superior cooking performance versus LPG where the pressure drops as the cylinder empties. It is less costly compared to LPG and unlike LPG is 100% carbon neutral in use. Carbon Masters’s Carbonlites organic manure reduces farmers dependency on chemical fertilisers and provides a superior performance than currently available alternatives like city composts (which are often contaminated with plastic and metals. Scalability India is the second largest market globally for LPG yet 40% is imported impacting India’s energy security and driving up its carbon footprint. India also has the second largest market globally for chemical fertilisers ($27 billion) and spends $9 billion on subsidies. Replacing this with a cost-effective organic manure saves costs, carbon emissions and improves farmers soils, yields and incomes. First in Bangalore and now in Indore with upcoming projects in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
