Chokmok Design Pvt. Ltd. is an India-based creative utility-led accessory lifestyle designer brand company. With its value-for-money lifestyle products, it aims to bring ease to human life along with environmental, reusability and durability focus in design. Example products are part of car interior lifestyle accessories e.g. car portable dustbin, tissue cover, seat belt designer cover; book accessories e.g. flexible book cover, book pouch; personal hygiene accessories: sanitary pad pouch, tissue pouch. Some of the future products may incorporate electronics for customer benefits e.g. GPS enabled bracelet for elderly and children, Bluetooth touch mouse which is mounted on a ring for thumb usage, etc. Consumer lifestyle benefit in terms of bringing ease to human life is core to every product. Other categories which are to come include kitchen, home, accessories, kids, elderly, yoga-related accessories as well. Chokmok is founded by a young couple-entrepreneur, viz. Suchita and Ankit Pal who hail from Western Uttar Pradesh region of India. They quote, “Who can be a better business partner than life partner: Helps balance work and family in an ideal manner. Same family values help build and drive concrete core values for the organization.” Chokmok is a dream which they aspire together and nurture each other towards organizational vision and execution related problem solving capitalizing on the strength of design development and operations to leverage best of each other for the success of the organization. Chokmok works at the core utilizing design thinking for the benefit of consumers to bring ease to human life. It scopes in the stages of empathizing with target consumers, defining the problem, ideating, prototyping and testing the solutions to best suit the consumer needs and wants. It incorporates the values of responsibility, joyfulness, and passion for excellence at its organizational core. Indeed aiming to build a lifestyle accessories designer brand from India for the world. Chokmok got incubated with Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida on May 2019 in Khoj stage (early incubation stage). AIC-BIMTECH provides a great platform to budding entrepreneurs in paving the way for a strong foundation to start-up journey. Their continuous guidance and support from mentors, interactions with industry leaders, multi-dimensional sessions scoping finance, marketing and operations provide the much-needed base to the start-ups. The team managing incubation provides close-knit support to the nitty-gritty’s faced in the early days of start-up. With this support, a very right platform is established to bridge the aspirations of entrepreneurs and implementation in the real world.
