Business of handmade, hand painted, chikankari, embroidered Kurtis, Kurta sets and Sarees was being carried out by Proprietor Anuja Gupta in the name of brand name Chowkhat since 2020. Initially it was a small scale business with restricted investment and limited number of end users but eventually the business started to flourish and hence the need to form a legally incorporated body with better creditability emerged and then the Private Limited Company was incorporated in May 2023 in the name and style of M/s. Chowkhat Lifestyle Private Limited with two directors Anuja Gupta and Pratanksha Gupta to have better control, administration and management of the business and to meet the need of expansion. Chowkhat Lifestyle Private Limited has its own website, instagram page in the name of Chowkhat and Facebook page in the name of Chowkhat for sale of its products and in order to attract more customers. Chowkhat has achieved a good customer base so far and is looking forward to grow on even a larger scale meeting the growing needs of customers in both domestic and international market. Chowkhat, not only focuses on fashion but also promotes women empowerment by providing them job opportunities and enhancing their technical skills so that they can have control over their financial lives, generate income, build wealth, and have a greater say in their financial decisions. Our fashion choices can have a significant impact not only on ourselves but also on the environment. Sustainable fashion is a movement that encourages us to choose clothing that is ethically produced and eco-friendly. By supporting sustainable clothing, we can reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the planet.
