The company is working to address some of the major social issues related to waste management and waste reduction. We are completely focused on solution & services to a. Ways to reduce single-use disposable plastic/paper waste generated across the F&B industry (restaurants, events, cafes, QSRs, water bottles and many more)b. Manage & recycle the dry waste generated properly so that contamination can be avoided by mixing with wet waste. This is again especially in the F&B sector.We are starting with two products/solutions:1. cutlerybank.org - This is the platform where all the cutlery or bartan banks across India are listed, and users can simply order online from the nearest cutlery bank to their location. Most of these cutlery banks provide the utensils for free for small events or parties. This helps in reducing the single-use plastic or disposables used for small family gatherings or events. The platform also provides registration of banks and a dashboard for them to view the impact created by all the banks.2. Dish washing as a service - After digging deep into why the use of disposable by the restaurants, cafes, QSR, events and many other places is because of two reasons: a. Perceived notion of hygienic if it is new and single-use.b. Washing is a big challenge because of a lack of washing facilities in the area, resources for washing, procuring water and many other overheads. The solution is to provide washing as a service to restaurants, allowing them to use reusable steel plates & cutlery without worrying about washing & hygiene. We have already started a pilot for the same with a couple of restaurants and are now opening up a dish washing centre in local areas.
