1. M/s CIRUS Boats is a startup company comprising ex-Armed Forces personnel who have come together to build high-quality rugged boats in India. The enthusiasm and expertise of the Team are backed by decades of experience onboard naval warships. Our goal is to provide lasting and unique solutions to the Indian Military, State Marine Police, Search and Rescue authorities (NDRF), Riverine transportation etc. by manufacturing rugged and reliable boats in India using a new-age technology and material. It would not be an exaggeration to state that our vision at M/s CIRUS Boats has indeed been inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister's dream of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”. 2. Traditionally, boats in India are used for fishing, leisure activity and transportation in the inland waterways. The existing boat market in India thus caters to these needs. The crafts used for these purposes are made of Steel, Aluminum, wood and lately Glass Reinforced Plastic and Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GRP/ FRP). Furthermore, these crafts are manufactured using traditional boat building methods and processes and have a life span of about Ten years. Boats made of these traditional materials need regular upkeep and maintenance and suffer from constant deterioration due to the elements and wear and tear. A new boat costs a fortune and hence the boats are repaired at regular intervals till such effort becomes economically unviable when a new boat is purchased. 3. A different perspective is seen when we look at the international boat market and find that, world over, the boat industry has made a paradigm shift towards using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) as the material for building boats. Boats made of HDPE are more rugged, require little or no maintenance and have a relatively longer life than boats made of traditional materials. Additionally, making boats with HDPE reduces the carbon footprint because of its longer life. Presently, the HDPE market in India is limited to industrial and household plumbing and industrial plumbing sector where in pipes and sheets are used to provide long term solutions needing very little routine maintenance and upkeep. A huge potential therefore exists in the Boat market where there are no known manufacturers of boat made of this material. HDPE material is the material of the future and very soon it has the potential to replace the traditional material for boat making such as steel, aluminum, wood and GRP/FRP for all purposes barring a few special requirements. 4. Manufacture of boats is a complex process involving various stages that takes place in a controlled environment, following which they need to be subjected to trials in various water/ sea conditions. M/s CIRUS Boats endeavors to create a world-class facility to manufacture the best conceivable boats for domestic use as well as for exports at competitive rates using innovative techniques and high-tech materials. We also intend to use our combined experience to deliver customized solutions to our military and Paramilitary forces as well as affiliated Government departments. 5. Additionally, M/s CIRUS Boats boasts with plethora of other range of unique durable and environmentally friendly marine products that will transform the day-to-day operation, activity & management of work. These custom design solutions from our product line includes - Dry berth Models, Water trailer models, Modular Helipads, various Pontoons & Jetty designs, Dock-mate designs. These products are ready to go & easy Do-it-yourself (DIY) type installation & comes with bespoke applications in rescue, emergency liftoffs & other types of inland & open sea navigational purposes by major fleet operators such as NDRF, SDRF, Military Defence Forces, Paramilitary Forces , Coast Guard to name few.
