Civra is a technology platform designed to modernize the way apartment associations are managed in India. At its core, Civra digitizes and automates the financial and operational functions of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) — bringing together maintenance billing, expense tracking, budget management, vendor coordination, visitor security, and resident communication into a single, integrated platform. India has over 100,000 registered RWAs managing millions of apartments across urban and tier-2 cities. The vast majority of these associations still operate through manual processes — paper ledgers, WhatsApp groups, and cash-based collections — resulting in financial opacity, operational inefficiency, and poor resident experience. Civra was founded to solve this gap with a platform that is purpose-built for the Indian apartment association context, including full GST compliance, UPI-based payment infrastructure, and workflows tailored to how Indian communities actually function. Civra's current version empowers association administrators to manage finances and operations with full transparency. Over the next two years, the platform will evolve into an autonomous association management system — one that can resolve resident issues, coordinate with service providers, and optimise budgets with minimal human intervention.
