We are an early-stage deep-tech startup based in Guwahati, Assam, developing high-performance biocarbon materials derived from bamboo for next-generation energy storage applications. Specifically, we engineer bamboo-derived carbon for two primary end-uses: hard carbon anode materials for sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries, and activated carbon for supercapacitor electrodes. India's energy transition is accelerating rapidly — battery demand for EVs, grid storage, and consumer electronics is projected to grow multi-fold over this decade — yet the entire carbon materials supply chain remains dependent on petroleum-derived or synthetic precursors, which are expensive, carbon-intensive, and largely imported. We are building a domestic, bio-based alternative using India's vast and underutilized bamboo biomass, processed through a controlled thermochemical pyrolysis and activation pathway to produce carbon materials with superior electrochemical performance.
