CloQR DataX has innovated a proprietary (patent and trademark pending) privacy-first logistics infrastructure that overhauls the traditional, exposure-heavy shipping label process. Currently, e-commerce packaging broadcasts Personally Identifiable Information (PII)—like names, phone numbers, and addresses—openly on the package. Critically, this data remains visible even after delivery when the box is discarded, creating a massive vulnerability for malicious actors and directly leading to data theft, systematic data harvesting from trash, stalking, harassment, and targeted financial fraud. To combat this, CloQR introduces a zero-workflow-change, QR-based masking technology. It masks sensitive PII with a secure, scannable QR code, granting delivery agents access through a secure "privacy moment" scan only when required. By securing data throughout transit and completely eliminating the severe risks stemming from discarded packaging, we enable the e-commerce ecosystem to achieve robust compliance with India's DPDP Act. Our solution is highly scalable due to its "integration-light" API architecture, integrating seamlessly with existing warehouse management systems (WMS) to rapidly onboard thousands of D2C brands. By mitigating data breaches and fraud, CloQR saves the Indian e-commerce market millions while creating specialized, future-ready employment in cybersecurity, software engineering, and data governance.
