In their own words
What is your Market? Our market is an Indian Army which is having around 3.7 million personnel. What is the problem you found? The essential daily supplies to army men like food, fuel, oil, lubricants, hygiene & chemicals and medicines is the core responsibility of IASC (Indian Army Service Corps). They running one of the biggest demand and supply management operations in nation. IASC supply management operations are entirely different from existing market and the working style of institutions under IASC is manual and traditional, they highly require a customize management solution to upgrade their system. There are many institutions under IASC working together in order to provide supplies on time, this is a kind of job which has to be done at any cost and its a most hectic process of our nation. We found that all institutions are functioning and managing their operations manually, which making it more difficult. What are the losses due to this problem? ✗ Managing every task manually, it delay whole demand and supply system. ✗ The information/data is not integrated, which let them perform all tasks differently and repeatedly. ✗ More human and other resources involved means high operational cost and chances of errors. ✗ The information/data is scattered which disfigure the analysis and projection. ✗ Tracking and advancement is very weak. ✗ Heavy filing, excel work and heavy workload. ✗ Extra time to complete daily operations. ✗ Excessive use of stationary and resources. ✗ Fail to maintain "zero error syndrome" because of human errors ✗ The resources and commodities are not maximally optimized at time, leads to wastage. ✗ Lacking transparency and "view of truth". ✗ Low satisfaction what is your solution?
