Clusterra is a managed High-Performance Computing (HPC) platform that turns weeks of cloud cluster setup into a single click. We deliver production-grade Slurm clusters as a service — running entirely inside the customer's own AWS account — so compute-intensive teams in semiconductor design, computational biology, and AI/ML can focus on their work instead of managing infrastructure. Today's HPC tools force a painful tradeoff: managed platforms like Rescale and Ansys Gateway mark up compute and lock customer data inside their own systems, while transparent options like AWS ParallelCluster demand deep DevOps expertise and weeks of integration work. The gap in the market is a solution that delivers managed-service simplicity without sacrificing data sovereignty, cost transparency, or modern developer experience — and that is exactly what Clusterra fills. Our vision is to make cloud HPC as effortless as deploying a web app. Just as Stripe abstracted away the complexity of payments and Vercel abstracted away the complexity of web hosting, Clusterra is building the abstraction layer for high-performance computing — so any team, anywhere, can spin up thousands of cores on demand without hiring a dedicated infrastructure team.
