In their own words
We started our activities with a vision to develop three commercially important product lines: 1. From Colabs Pharma we have developed recyclable and environmentally friendly catalysts for Industrial processes that use noxious gases like thionyl chloride, phosphorous oxylchloride and aluminium chloride. Our concept is based on lacunary type polyxometallates where we modulate the Bronsted acidity by tuning the percentage of lacunae. We have proven the process with dehydration reaction of both alcohols and amides and we further extended this to the dehydration of amides to nitriles. Ultimate aim of this work is to industrially produce catalyst cartridges that can be used in both batch and continuous chemical processes. We have already developed the catalysts. IP protection and commercialisation is pending. 2. An icaridine bioconjugate based mosquito repellants, that are safe for kids and pets - A mosquito repellant that avoids DEET, and that can be applied on fabric that can withstand multiple washes. We have both domestic and military applications planned. We have already developed this conjugate, tested and ready for commercialisation. 3. Tick and wasp repellants for specific military application.
