CEPL is a BESS-focused energy platform being built to become the “Siemens & GE of storage” for India and beyond. We start today as an execution-advisory arm for mid-sized, cash-rich industrial and infra groups, helping them design and execute BESS and other energy related projects. We will add a GenCo business that develops and owns grid-scale BESS assets under long-term capacity-charge contracts. Over time, we add O&M, PCS/EMS-integrated manufacturing and battery recycling, using the advisory and GenCo businesses to aggregate demand, lock in offtake for manufacturing arm, and build a circular, high-margin BESS franchise.
