ComicStand is an OTT platform for stand-up comedy, it's similar like Netflix but only for stand-up comedy. We organize stand-up comedy events, record and edit the performance professionally and upload to our OTT platform as pay per video model(TVoD). Audience and demand for stand-up comedy is increasing rapidly, there is no main streaming platform for stand-up comedy in India. For attending stand-up comedy in club it cost lot’s of money & time and not accessible to tier 2 , 3 city's. By providing stand-up shows online reduces it's price by 60%. ComicStand is watch together platform and it's new kind of social media, people can make new friends while watching favorite videos, they can communicate with each other by texting/VoIP everything in real time with perfectly sync videos among users. I'm trying to brings theater like experience at home. ComicStand Premium: Nowadays theater are going down and OTT platform rules the video entertainment market, but there is no open platform to release paid video like (Transactional video on demand). In ComicStand Premium content creator can release their own premium video and there fanbase/user will buy those videos and these video is only available on ComicStand. We took a share in every video sold. ComicStand functionality will give them virtual theater experience and even they can meet similar minded people. Opportunity: The Business model of movies will be going to change. Making movie for smallest viable audience is the new game. low cost, more competition, more user involvement and better over-all consumer experience. For video creator releasing these movie in Theater(PVR, Cinemax) is very difficult and these Movies/Videos can be easily release on Virtual Theater. Amazon miniTV doing something same. But it's not open platform nor virtual theater experience. Only selected people can release their video. Currently we are in development phase of the app, the core functionality of app is almost fully functional. Plan Make core functionality of app complete working. Then we attract more user by marketing the app via memers/memes. Then we reach out for funding to (Expanding team, office space, marketing, etc) Then we approach YouTubers to relase their premium video like (Stand-up comedian) When we attract few YouTubers They promote ComicStand and they convince their fans to buy there premium video. For Stand-up comedians, if we are able to generate more money then they get from YouTube, it will create an chain effect that more YouTubers attract towards ComicStand and they bring ther fanbase. Everything is gone well then we release Movies on ComicStand.
