Problem Definition: Industrial gases refers to the gases like Liquid Nitrogen, Medical Oxygen, Liquid Argon etc produced in huge quantities for usage in a variety of industrial processes. These gases are in high demand in industries related to chemicals, petrochemicals, oil, gas and energy. Based on the application of these gases, for instance oxygen in steel manufacturing, hospitals; nitrogen in food preservation etc., an uninterrupted supply from the gas manufacturer to the end-use industry is very crucial. Due to unavailability of real-time information about the stock levels of liquified gases stored in specialised tanks installed at consumer sites and lack of storage tank health information, the gas manufacturers suffers from heavy penalties, monetary losses, untimely deliveries, tanker truck detention and so on. On the other hand, tank run-outs causes plant shutdown and production loss at consumer site. In case, if consumers are from the healthcare industry, the unavailability of medical liquid oxygen can be even more fatal. Our Solution: To bridge the gap between the demand and supply, to assist our clients in the effective use of their assets and to make proactive decisions, we have developed state-of-the-art telemetry platform, remote monitoring solutions and related web-enabled industrial grade telemetry devices. Our indigenously developed Telemetry Device, CL200 can acquire multiple variables like Pressure, Level, flow etc from one or more measuring instruments. It uses HTTPS/GPRS to communicate with Corvid Server where the readings are processed and made available on our cloud-based software Gas Level Monitoring System (GLM) and Android application. GLM helps industrial gas manufacturers, distributors and consumers to monitor their cryogenic tanks remotely anytime, anywhere. GLM analyses gas consumption patterns in real-time, forecasts and sends alerts/notifications to relevant persons through SMS and E-Mail. It also helps the logistic department to plan combined delivery and proactive dispatches and hence ensuring timely refills to their customers.
