CORE Agro is an agriculture technology company building the future of sustainable, intelligent farming in India. Founded on the belief that farming should give back — to farmers, to the earth, and to society — Core is tackling three of Indian agriculture's most pressing problems: farmers achieving only 60–75% of their potential yield, receiving just 31–43% of the final consumer price, and facing climate losses of $9–10 billion annually with 80% uninsured. Core's approach combines hands-on farming with technology. In the first phase, the team leases farmland in rural areas to demonstrate high-value crop success firsthand — growing onions, cauliflower, and other produce while building real expertise and market relationships. This isn't a company that theorizes from a distance; it gets its hands in the soil first. As operations mature, the plan scales into precision agriculture — drones, IoT sensors, organic practices, and data-driven decision-making — before expanding into a community model where partner farmers replicate Core's methods and share in the profits. Alongside the farming operations, Core has built a proprietary farm management software platform: a mobile-first dashboard that tracks sales, finances, weather forecasts, spray schedules, field operations, and reports — giving farmers and operators real-time visibility into everything happening on the farm. The vision is ambitious: 600 acres under management by 2030, a profitable farming enterprise, and a rural economic ecosystem where technology and community lift each other up.
