Absence of market is the key challenge for rural artisans. As with limited resources they find it difficult to reach out to potential customers. Cutrunn is a unique initiative started in the year 2018 for providing such space which guarantees marketplace to bring wonderful handmade creations with a rustic charm straight from makers to customers. We strive for maximum returns to the producers and satisfying happiness to customers while providing a sustainable livelihood to the artisans in rural places. Cutrunn is art and craft initiative aim to promote, support and innovate craft products with a vision of economic sustainability of rural folks. We work with rural artisan who are setting up a glaring example by emerging as a social entrepreneur in a rural set up. During last one year as a start-up, we have reached out to almost over 10,000 customers directly and thousands of people on line. Our products are unique in the sense that we aim to protect the environment through our ecofriendly affordable products made up of handmade paper and cow dung. We strive to bring awareness in the citizen by promoting products prepared by rural women. Our products are handmade paper diary, paper folders, file, bag, paper pen and pencils. These products are largely available in the market using plastics. Our aim is to aware people to use products which are eco-friendly and minimize usages of plastic products. Another product which we are promoting is home decor and festive products made up of cow dung. As we are aware cow dung is scientifically proven eco-friendly substances which keeps environment safe and protected. These products of cow dung are well processed and well-crafted/designed to attract people around the society like clocks, mobile stand, idols, decorative products, Gayatri Mantra etc. These innovative products are now gradually becoming high in demand as & when people come across with the products. We see invaluable impact in terms of not only supporting many rural artisans in their economic sustainability but also working tirelessly to bring awareness in citizen to protect our environment to make a safe place to live.
