"D4Impact is derived from "Data for impact". We work on raw data and find trends so that we can make sustainable changes and impact. Who are we? We eat raw data and turn it into actionable items for deeper and sustainable impact. We based out in Gurugram, India. We are a team of experts coming from different domains with a total experience of 40 years in humanitarian and data science domain. What are we solving? A survey carried out by Every Action finds that 90% of nonprofits indicate that they're collecting data, but "almost half say they aren’t fully aware of the ways data can (and does) impact their work". This is not surprising, given the fact that most nonprofit bodies do not have a dedicated data analysis team. However, the wave of huge data is now reaching NGOs and government bodies as well, who can use data science to make a bigger impact. Data analysis can help organizations like CRS to make sure that they're putting their time, effort, money and energy into the right channels. Nonprofits need funds to fulfil their missions but also need to prove the results of their work to attract donors. Data science has immense potential in optimising this cycle of proving results, and also helps organisations make well-informed, sound decisions.
