DEHATKIMANDI ONLINE SERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED Company Overview : DehatKiMandi is an agri start-up focused on agricultural inputs and information. This start-up will provide information to the farmers & optimize the supply chain by making the factors of production (seeds, pesticide etc.) available at cheaper prices at farmers’ doorstep. We aim to develop the supply chain technology and information platform in agriculture domain, building to connect the farming community with the suppliers in a more transparent manner with the vision to ‘Empowered Farmer to lead more secure, prosperous, and dignified life'. The objective of the company is to make farmers more knowledgeable and increase the farmers’ income by reducing the pre harvesting cost of crops. Socioeconomic Footprint of the Company : This model is to create Farmer Champions at village level to promote the technology among the farmers and provide handholding support to farmers on new package of practices(POP) in agri sector. Along with this the profit earn by the company will be shared with the Farmer Champions on incentive basis. The better crop production and proposed incentive concept together increase the earning of farmers and create job opportunity at village level. It will also create jobs in villages by developing rural courier service to deliver products at the farmers’ doorstep and by creating inventory warehouses in rural areas as volume of business grow. The farmers who work with us as a collective (Self Help Groups, Cooperatives, Farmer Producer Organisations etc.) or individual will get benefit. It is not only in terms of financials, but also in terms of skilling, reskilling and adoption of Good Practices.
