Devic Earth Private Limited is a startup which uses specialized radiofrequency transmitter coils to safely and effectively reduce ambient air pollution levels and carbon emissions. The coils have the following effects: 1. Reduce ambient nitrogen oxides (NOx), PM10, and PM2.5 levels by 30-40% in a 10-20 km radius 2. Reduce ambient carbon dioxide (the main greenhouse gas) levels by 33% in a 10-20 km radius 3. Improve public health of residents living in the area where the coils are installed by reducing admissions for acute illnesses related to air pollution, by 33% The radiofrequency transmitter coils (“coils”) work in the UHF range (similar to but at a lower frequency than TV and radio towers), allowing them to exert their effect over a distance. The pollution coil works by accelerating the natural clearance of certain pollutants (NOx, PM10, PM2.5); the carbon coil causes the breakdown of CO2 into elemental carbon. The coils are installed in Devic Earth’s “air pollution mitigation systems”, which also contain equipment for monitoring local air pollution levels and climate; wireless technology to allow remote operation and monitoring of the system; and solar panels/batteries for 100% off-the-grid operation. End users can review local pollution data and monitor system efficacy on their mobile devices using an app. Each system is the size of a small home refrigerator and designed for rooftop installation. Our target markets are heavy industries, thermal power plants, large buildings, and government.
