We are developing Ṛta, an AI-powered, citation-first intelligence platform with the ambition of becoming the canonical intelligence layer for Indology—a domain encompassing millennia of texts, traditions, and scholarly thought, yet lacking a trusted modern intelligence infrastructure. Indological knowledge is extraordinarily rich, but deeply fragmented. Critical texts, translations, and commentaries are dispersed across universities, archives, and research institutions, often inaccessible to modern research workflows. We are actively sourcing and curating authoritative Indology data from multiple academic and cultural institutions, with a strong focus on provenance, editions, and scholarly integrity. Ṛta is designed explicitly around these requirements—combining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with structured Knowledge Graphs (KG) and a "Thinker-Speaker LLM loop" that decouples logical reasoning from narrative synthesis. Policy-driven orchestration, ensures that every insight is grounded in primary sources and can be cited with confidence. Architecturally, the platform is built as open, cloud-agnostic infrastructure—prioritizing transparency, auditability, and long-term institutional trust. Beyond technology, Ṛta serves a cultural mission: to transform civilizational knowledge into structured, modern intelligence systems that preserve depth, context, and authority while enabling rigorous engagement by individuals and institutions. From a commercial standpoint, Ṛta is designed with multiple monetization vectors, including enterprise subscriptions, research APIs, and institutional licensing. With disciplined cloud economics and open architecture leverage, the model supports high-margin, scalable growth. Ṛta is conceived with a long-term vision to evolve into a foundational national digital asset—much like Aadhaar for governance and UPI for digital payments.
