When we sought out to create an e-learning musical platform the idea was to have space that was by Artists for aspiring Artists. Our intention is to provide quality musical education using not just Course material but also real experiences of Artists. Thus, was formed Dhwanilaya, a space where one can learn music with courses that are tailor-made for them based on their level of expertise. Our teachers are enthusiastic music professionals who love teaching students over a video call just as much as performing on stage in front of a live audience. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner, an aspiring professional or just trying to pick up a new hobby, Dhwanilaya will be your favorite space when it comes to music. When you join Dhwanilaya you don’t just join a course, you become a part of an ever-growing family. Summary : Dhwanilaya is an e-learning platform for music. Teachers and students can create user accounts. Teachers declare their availability for taking classes. The students have the option to warm up themselves to the stream of their choice using the “Discovery class” option, which provides them a 50 min session with the teacher of their choice. Students choose courses for their desired music stream e.g. Hindustani Classical Vocals; choose a teacher of their choice; choose slots and book (minimum 4 sessions or multiples e.g. 8, 12 etc.). At the scheduled time, the student and the teacher can meet using a video call on Dhwanilaya platform. Other features in the platform help teachers and students manage a class schedule, course material, viewing class recordings and learning e.g. practice recordings etc. and resolve any operational complaints. Dhwanilaya will be available as a website and Android and iOS mobile apps. Students pay using a payment gateway integrated in the website/app.
