Computational mathematical techniques depend on the discretization process. The company “Discretize Solution Private Limited” is formed to support organizations engaged in numerical and physics-based simulations for research, design, and manufacturing. The company will assist in designing, developing, customization, implementing, testing, and benchmarking the software applications related to, mathematical and physics-based algorithms. The main thrust is in modernizing legacy software to newer platforms. Other related areas of interest are highperformance computing and scientific visualization of experimental data and simulation results. One of the directors (Mohan Rao) has a post-graduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Ph.D. in theoretical astrophysics. He had worked for several years as a scientist at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics publishing several international publications in astrophysical simulations and numerical techniques. Apart from academic experience, he had worked in companies HCL, Cyient, and Worley parsons where he was engaged in developing engineering software, modernization of the legacy software, and training several junior colleagues. The director (Lakshmi Hyma) has a bachelor’s degree in science and is post-graduated in English. She had teaching experience in teaching college students. The company will strive towards acquiring, developing, and nurturing the high talent pool available in the country. The company will encourage its employees in participating industry and academic colloquia and make partners for developing the business.
