In their own words

The taste of India lies in its street food. It's not only affordable, but also rich in variety. It has a typical authentic local stamp which one can not find in upmarket restaurants or star hotels. Besides 3 crore registered food vendors and their families, around 45 crore students, job-seeking youth, non-executive employees, workers, self-employed and middle class to poor depend on this segment. But health and hygiene is the first causality in the street food market. After COVID-19, health precautions have become more important than the food itself. Next major problem is insufficient income of the street food vendors. Poverty forces most of them to engage their children in the stalls instead of sending them to schools. Some spend entire life on the streets, but fail to open a restaurant or secured shop for themselves. DEV works with them with two distinct targets: 1. Ensure healthy hygienic food to 35 crore middle, lower middle and poor class citizens of India. 2. Help street food vendors in achieving a regular decent earning and lead a stable life. In short, DEV redefines Pakodanomics.
