Diyanija Technologies Private Limited is building a technology platform that brings superspeciality medical expertise from India’s metro cities to patients in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities who currently have limited or no access to it. When a patient in a smaller city faces a high-stakes medical decision — such as whether to undergo surgery, which cancer treatment to pursue, or whether a recommended procedure is genuinely necessary — the platform enables them to obtain structured, independent second opinions from DM/MCh-qualified superspecialists, without the cost, time, and physical hardship of travelling hundreds of kilometres. The platform operates under the product brand UCHITRAY and uses a proprietary alignment scoring methodology to measure how many independent specialists support each component of the treating doctor’s existing plan — the diagnosis, the treatment, the investigations, and the procedure — and presents this as a clear, patient-friendly visual indicator. Unlike conventional second opinion services that provide an alternative treatment recommendation — often leaving the patient confused between two competing plans — this platform measures the degree of specialist support for the treating doctor’s existing plan, enabling confident decision-making rather than creating decision paralysis. The platform is not a primary consultation service. It does not create new treatment plans, does not generate prescriptions, and does not replace the treating doctor. It evaluates the treating doctor’s existing plan by placing it before independent specialists and presenting their interpretations. The report includes specialist’s observations and specific conversation points that the patient or their family member can use to have a more informed discussion with their treating doctor.
