Brief of Dparth Technologies Inception of Dparth Technologies Digital India is a campaign launched on 1st July 2015 by Honb’le Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, in order to ensure that the Government's services are made available to the citizens of India electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. One of the campaign goals of Digital India is BharatNet, driven by Bharat Broadband Network Limited, is a telecom infrastructure provider set up for the establishment, management, and operation of the National Optical Fibre Network to provide a minimum of 100 Mbit/s broadband connectivity to all 250,000 Gram Panchayat in the country, covering nearly 625,000 villages, to improve telecommunication in India. Dparth team has spent almost two years with various big four’s and was involved in the project pertaining to Digital India for conceptualization of BharatNet, evaluation of technical and budgetary options with various states i.e. Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana and also with Department of Telecommunication (DoT). One of the key perspectives for the implementation of such kind of projects is to connect villages and another is to create more Village Level Entrepreneurship (VLE’s). During the course of implementation of such kind of projects and via enriched experience which we gained from them, we realised that if Honb’le Prime Minister is searching VLE’s why can’t we become so and consequently we have started exploring hidden entrepreneur within us. Hence, with the view to live Prime Ministers’ Vision, we have eventually decided to leave our tags behind and joined hands with our colleagues formed a team and created Dparth Technologies and went on the path of entrepreneurship. Evolution of Dparth Technologies Leaving 6-digit salary behind was tough for us but as we want to taste our fruits or luck, we went ahead to evaluate our business model and tried acting as a bridge between concept and reality. Being first generation entrepreneur, we have limited knowledge of running business and the complexities of various compliances associated with it, registering as proprietorship firm was easy for us hence we have gone ahead and registered initially as a proprietor. The team hard work and extensive knowledge of the domain in a very small span of time make us able to get our first order and that too from TATA Projects which is one of the fastest growing and most admired infrastructure companies in India. TATA Projects is working as a Master System Integrator for Chhattisgarh State under BharatNet Phase-II project and need advisory services for the same. Since we knew the concept of BharatNet Phase-II project and most importantly we knew that the primary objective of the project is not only establishing the network but the benefits of the established network should reach to the citizen of India, with this aim we become their technical advisors and from here our journey of success begins. Post this major win we have banged various other projects for advisory services pertaining to BharatNet from various prestigious clients like KPMG. In KPMG we were involved as a technical advisor in the preparation of Detailed Project Report for the State of Uttarakhand etc. Being a proprietorship firm we were facing few challenges in bidding process of most of the government clients due to various compliance requirements associated for the same. Hence, we have moved on and registered ourselves as Private Limited Company under the brand name ‘Dparth Tech Advisory Private Limited’. Success continued and we banged our first order from Government itself i.e. Jharkhand Communication Network Limited (JCNL) an SPV created for implementation of BharatNet Phase-II. This obviously increases the responsibility of Dparth in making the vision of Honb’le Prime Ministers’ dream project a successful project so that benefit of the established network can be reached to citizen of India. The journey is not confined to this only, Dparth further entered in to another mission of Government of India. India is a developing country; Smart cities are another big mission of Government of India. The Smart city concept integrates information and communication technology (ICT), and various physical devices connected to the IoT network to optimize the efficiency of city operations and services and connect to citizens. Going forward we entered into this another mission of GOI and involved ourselves with a leading consulting group i.e. M/s IBI Consulting Group and contributing ourselves in this big initiative. Because of the trust, believe and confidence we gained from the market we are now associated with other projects from various sectors from ITI Limited, Lion Engineering etc.
