DriveGuard Systems is a youth-led safety-tech startup committed to making road safety automatic, not optional. We are building a new category of intelligent, enforcement-driven safety solutions that address one of the most overlooked causes of road fatalities—behavioral non-compliance. Our flagship product, BuckleShield, is an Intelligent Seatbelt Monitoring and Enforcement System that prevents a vehicle from starting unless the driver is properly buckled up. Unlike standard seatbelt alerts that can be ignored or faked, BuckleShield physically enforces compliance, making it tamper-resistant, brand-agnostic, and scalable across all vehicle types.Founded by award-winning student innovator Sankalp Upadhyay, DriveGuard has earned national recognition, government backing, and mentorship from global automotive leaders, including ex-CXOs of Volkswagen and advisors from Suzuki and Walmart Tech.
