In their own words

e_Bhasha have been founded by, Shri Rashid Ahmad, Dr. Pawan Kumar, Dr. Sanket Kumar Pathak and Ms. Natasha Richa. The team has a collective experience of 55+ years in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), English to Indic (E-I) & Indic to Indic languages (I-I) Machine translation (MT) systems, and in Business Development. e_Bhasha have developed an AI Assisted Translation Platform to facilitate translators in enhancing the quality of their translation. All content translation tasks have some mechanical task components, but have major Cognitive task components, which are related with context sensitive semantics of the text, and context specific fluency of the target language which can never be done by a MT System. Hence, a post MT output needs to be edited by a translator to make it of publishable quality, making readers to feel that it is written in the target language itself. Computer Aided Tools (CAT) reduces the mechanical efforts, but it is the cognitive load that drains the energy of translators resulting in their cognitive exhaustion sooner, depleting their productivity. This natural limitation of translators makes publishable quality translation a costly affair, with a large turnaround time. e_Bhasha have developed a post-MT Work-flow Framework, called Trans-flow, based on the division of labor of translation task, viz., post- editors, reviewers, and validators. To implement the Trans-flow process, e_Bhasha have developed a Web based AI Assisted Translation Platform, called Transzaar*, a work bench which can be configured for a post-editor, a reviewer, or a validator. A Transzaar Platform can be attached with multiple customized MTs. It is plugged with language resources like dictionaries, thesaurus, glossaries, etc., web resources like Wikipedia, search engines, and other language services. These resources are mediated through AI modules to make them available with a click of a button. As the Transzaar Platform partitions the translation cognitive load among the post-editors, reviewers and validators, it saves them from their cognitive exhaustion, and therefore they can work efficiently for longer duration. It improves the quality of translation and also enhances the translation productivity qualitatively (50% to 150% for E-I translation, and far more for I-I translation), reducing the cost and turnaround time of translation. This would unleash the growth in E-I, and I-I translation market, increasing the demand of translation professionals. Transzaar is a 24*7 web based generic platform which can be configured for a specific language pair. e_Bhasha runs Transzaar as Software as a Service (SaaS) in Business to Customer (B-C) mode, and translators can join it on volume-subscription basis. This would uberize the home restricted and retired professionals in the translation market as well. As Transzaar is a Web based Platform it can be scaled easily by running it on the Cloud. Further, e_Bhasha is also selling the Transzaar System to organizations as Platform as a Service (PaaS) in Business to Business (B-B) mode, which organizations can install for their in-house translators assuring them the privacy of content. Now, e_Bhasha is extending its platform for translating Video content and a Web Based Platform, called Videozaar has been developed that can be used for Video Transcription, Transcription Subtitling, and Translation Subtitling in different languages . Videozaar would increase the productivity of Transcriber by 50-100%, and would provide better Transcription and Translation Subtitle quality, i.e., a subtitle would start from appropriate video frame and stay for appropriate duration for good comprehension of dialogues. In pandemic the viewership of OTT platforms has increased tremendously and this is likely to continue for a longer period. This would bring a big surge in the demand of Translation Subtitling in Indic languages where Videozaar can be used most efficiently reducing the cost qualitatively. *‘Transzaar: Empower Human Translators’, 18th International Conference on Computational Sciences and its Applications ICCSA 2018, Australia.
