Ecobrium began in 2020, inspired by a simple yet profound realization: the vast potential of Northeast India was untapped, and with the right guidance, it could flourish sustainably. Starting out, our founder Jimmy Singh Thangjam envisioned an organization that would not just be another consultancy but a force of change, one that understands the unique socio-economic fabric of the region. Ecobrium was born from the idea that the region could be both self-sufficient and eco-friendly. It wasn’t about massive industrialization but harnessing the power of local resources, communities, and knowledge. The team started small, focusing on green products, training local entrepreneurs, and crafting livelihood opportunities that didn't harm the environment.In its early days, amidst the pandemic, we faced numerous challenges - from navigating the complexities of rural entrepreneurship to understanding the intricacies of the local ecology. But each challenge only strengthened our resolve. With every project, we learned, adapted, and grew, always keeping the community's needs at the forefront. With our forward-looking approach of blending traditional wisdom with modern technology we ensure to formulate and support innovative, impactful, and sustainable projects. Ecobrium is not just a company; it's a movement and a promise of a sustainable future for Northeast India.
