“Ecologue automation llp” is established to develop automation & IOT based products with software related to sustainability. The products shall help in monitoring towards safety and energy efficiency of Building facilities. As a first product, EVSE with a number of outstanding features is developed. Govt of India is giving highest priority for EV mobility to achieve Net zero status by 2070 and trying to become a global leader in EV adoption. The basic problem for EVs in India is the infrastructure. Even though Govt of India is extending all possible support to Community charging stations with fast chargers, there is a huge necessity for domestic EV charging infrastructure since fast charging on a regular basis is not ideal from point of battery’s life. So it will be helpful for individuals to charge their vehicles at their homes or offices at their convenient time. Hence EVSE (Electrical vehicle supply equipment) as per IS 17017 is required at every home to extend proper safe and reliable power to on board charger. Even though there are a number of EVSEs available in market, but they are not meant for Group housings/ Office complexes. EVSE developed, exclusively for Group housing communities and Office complexes, by Ecologue automation has got many features as follows a) Authentication of User b) Energy consumption meter c) Payment through wallet with options to charge based on need ie full charge or only amount based or based on time set d) Overload, Short circuit and Earth leakage protections e) Pilot pin communication to ensure plug is inserted properly into car socket f) Charging in a group based on First cum first serve or reduced charging currents to make sure that the transformers / branch circuits are not overloaded Even though features point(a) to point(e) are common with most of EVSEs, last point is unique to “Ecologue automation” EVSE is operated with Mobile using a customized App by users. The same will have following features a) To authenticate the EVSE to start charge b) Fixing the amount for charge/ full charge option c) stop charge d) Indication of faults e) Charging pattens with date, amount etc
