Here we address the core problems with the education system and the core solutions that Edbird will provide. Some of the Core Problems that a common student face in the current scenario: 1) Lack of career counselling (awareness of various fields and professions to choose and self-reflection) at the very young age(especially 10th class and high school) 2) Lack of mentorship on how to achieve something in their lives. 3) Very little awareness on how to make the use of tremendous resources available over both online and offline. 4) Practical knowledge, Experience and Networking. These problems leads to : 1) Being unclear on what to do in their lives. 2) Wasting a lot of their time in graduation(a crucial era of their learning), ending up choosing a career which neither do they like nor does it satisfies them financially. 3) Lack of soft skills and real life training(health,stress,etc). 4) Lack of adaptability in the rapid changing world. (In the next ten years 40-100 million jobs will become computerised, automated, or irrelevant) 5) Being unfit to the various jobs available and even not capable to be self-employed. Now to solve these problems Edbird will: 1) Provide a Career Counselling/Exploration platform where a student will explore various fields and profession he/she can choose and know about them thoroughly before actually choosing them. Where creative fields are on a special focus area. 2) Help them explore various ‘Training Schools, Coachings, Colleges or institutes’ they can go for. 3) Will provide them mentorship for: - career path and skills breakup - aligning the learning path with real life. - holistic exposure to projects and initiatives which will result in gain of practical knowledge, experience and networking. - self-awareness and self-reflection about their areas of interest. 4) Recommend them various resources which they will need time to time in their learning path. 5) Keep a track of their completed and uncompleted courses and make their SKILL PROFILE. Edbird can be a single name that a student can rely on.
