Ekan Infocook was founded by Dr. Shampa Sahay, who began this journey with cooking class. Vision was to provide hands-on training on culinary technique & processes. Company works in two steams, (1) Education and (2) Production. She developed website cooksafari.co.in. Cooksafari - “Online journey to taste”, is culmination of Food/cooking industry and e-learning. It is a platform where food lovers can get online exotic & authentic food recipes. In cooksafari portal recipes are described with literature, photographs and videos. But if still there is any challenge in making or reproducing the recipes from the portal, people may hook for live interactive classes and can learn nuances of cooking tricks. It is easily approachable & interesting way of learning cooking. There are a good number of food lovers, who wants to learn good cooking. In addition to this, food becomes a major issue for people, who reside away from home. Getting authentic food of their own taste always becomes a challenge for them. The main aim of cooksafari is to connect people globally. Anyone who wants to learn cooking can take live sessions from cooksafari and learn to make food of their desired taste. In production unit, which is setup in Greater Noida, it mainly deals with daily food products which works on formula based model to provide uniformity in day to day meal. It mainly deals with the corporates, students and residents. Scaling up this model can be done locally and this will provide job opp to mainly.
