Enabl life is an effort to make a change in the textile industry in terms of saving power and water consumption, limiting factory pollution, follow ethical practices, using only biodegradable and naturally derived raw materials. The most innovative steps of our project, which were also the most challenging, starting from the yarn blends till ready to ship product. 1. The Enabl Life blend must be sustainable, soft, comfortable durable and aesthetically-appealing . 2. The thoughtfully blended yarns gives the garment a long-lasting life. 3. The designs are absolute classics so wearing it year after year, you don’t have to worry about the trends. 4. A blend so sustainable it helps reduce land-fills. 5. We worked round the clock to figure out manufacturing processes that would help us save water, electricity and find factories that work ethically. 6. We believe in renewable sources of energy and so collaborated with the factory that works 70% on solar energy. 7. Our fibre dying process saves upto 95% of water consumption and our yarn dying process saves upto 84% of water consumption. These processes are much more expensive than the commercial processes but it’s environmentally friendly and that’s important to us. 8. We infuse stretchability with Lycra making Enable life clothing retain shape and be super agile. Even our threads are stretchy which adds more comfort and life to the garment. 9. We add no extra tags or labels on the garments to save paper and reduce unwanted trash. Our outer covers are sustainable too and are made with recycled paper.
