We are building an environmentally & socially responsible brand and strongly believe that there’s a latent need of the products that we are making. * Problem We Are Solving We want to solve the problem of poor skin health in India. The condition of skin health in India is such that more than 80% of the population suffers from skin allergies and problems. A study suggests that we all drink up to 4,000 microplastic particles a day — 100 times more than had been previously thought. Every year, 12 million tonnes of plastic reaches the oceans where it forms enormous floating garbage patches and affect the aquatic life and environment at a massive level. * Innovation The various products we plan to launch under our brand will have innovation in terms of ingredients, design, functionality & usage. Listing below some specifics - Removing Microbeads/Microplastics from all our formulations. Microplastics are hardly visible to the naked eye and flows straight from the bathroom drain into the sewer system. Wastewater treatment plants are not designed to filter them out, this is how they contribute to a large amount of marine & ocean pollution. These particles can then be passed along the food chain and since humans are ultimately at the top of this food chain we are likely to ingest microplastics. Using body washes/cosmetics that contain microplastics can put the ocean, ourselves and our children at risk! * Improvement In Packaging Beauty industry being one of the biggest contributor to plastic pollution generates estimated 100 billion plastic packaging units every year. We are using Glass bottles and Post consumer recycled plastic which is 100% recyclable to promote Circular economy and tackle climate change & bio-diversity loss together. Our operations are completely Plastic Neutral which means we offset 100% of our Plastic Footprint by funding the recycling of amount of plastic equivalent that we use in our operations. * Scalability Size of Organized Skincare/Cosmetics Market in India – Rs. 50,000 Cr revenue annually. This presents a sizeable opportunity for us to create a high-quality and sustainably minded homegrown skincare brand. * Validation We’ve are selling B2C through online channels.
