As per McKinsey Global Institute March 2019 report on "Digital India-Technology to transform a connected nation" & TRAI report 2019, Out of the population of 1320 million, mobile subscriber base is 1184 million out of which only 350 million users have smart phones. Mobile internet penetration is just 29% of the user base which is estimated to grow to 35% by 2023. Given large section of Indian population has non data connected smart phone devices and feature phones, we propose to rollout pan India Mobile Payment Service for Non Data devices and Feature phones which will be handset and mobile operator agnostic having functionalities of Person to Person & Person to Account money transfer, Bill Payments for electricity & Gas, Mobile Recharge, DTH recharge etc. This mobile payment service will be secured with Patented MHSM based Technology which will be simple, safe and secure in use. The recent Vision 2019-2021 document of Payment and Settlement Systems in India and High level Committee on Deepening of Digital Payments (May 2019) of RBI have proposed to innovate Mobile Payment System for Feature Phones in the country to serve various strata of the society. More than 40 percent of India’s labour force works in agriculture, which contributes about 18 percent of the country’s GDP. Precision agriculture—delivering real-time data to farmers’ mobile phones to help them optimise fertiliser, pesticide, and other inputs—can increase yields by 15% or more. After harvest, farmers could use variants of online marketplaces for agricultural produce to transact with a larger pool of potential buyers. One such platform, the government’s electronic National Agriculture Market, or eNAM, is available in 585 locations in 16 states and shows potential to increase prices realised by farmers by 15%.
