TAHOOR FOUNDATION has been established with the aim to develop rural India. Lack of education, improper focus and negligence on health and hygiene, child marriage, forced marriage, gender based violence, unregulated internet exposure, drug addictions, etc as well as unemployment and poverty plague our society. Our primary focus will be on addressing some of the issues above via generating awareness and imparting knowledge about the same through our flagship programmes.To empower rural people, especially women by generating awareness and imparting knowledge about education, health and hygiene, child marriage, forced marriage, gender-based violence, unregulated internet exposure, importance of good parenting, drug addictions, etc as well as unemployment and poverty. To discover, encourage and support the talented students and people. To provide employment through upskilling, networking, and reviving lost traditional handicrafts and other MSME businesses. To impart basic knowledge about what environment is, its significance, it’s limitations, environmental issues such as pollution of land, water and air, greenhouse effect, global warming, etc. To focus on environmental protection via using traditional and scientific knowledge, garbage and plastic management, recycling, and reusing waste. We also aim to promote good and green environmental practices.
