Farmagain is an AgTech Startup founded in 2013 by Technology and Management professionals from other industries with an objective of “Producing and Marketing, High Quality and Healthy Organic Foods at Affordable Prices with ultimate Farm-To-Fork Traceability using Technology and Innovation as Backbone, while Retaining the Traditional Knowledge and Values”.farmagain organic is Farmagain’s own Standard for production, post-harvest handling, marketing and distribution of Fruits and Vegetables. farmagain organic has taken the remarkable initiatives of IFOAM since 1972 to a different level using IoT & AI. farmagain organic is built on four pillars, namely, Soil Fertility, Water Management, Traceability and Profitability – a perfect balance between Mother Nature, Farmers and Consumers. Organic food should be the right of an end consumer, not a premium product out of reach of a common man. farmagain organic envisages supply chain to be fulfilled by engaging with or by creating micro entrepreneurs along the way instead of creating corporate monopoly. Secondly, Farmagain has created a solution that has taken “farm automation” to an all new level, by making a farm totally autonomous, and is christened as DO.FARM. This solution takes care of irrigation and nutrient management just like how a farmer would do – it thinks like a farmer, acts like a farmer through sensors installed across a farm and real-time communication with the DO.FARM server, which is the actual brain of the ecosystem that simulates a farmer’s thought process. It can handle even pest and disease management. We are now well mature on both farmagain organic methodology as well as DO.FARM autonomous farm system.
