How We Were Born The members of FinSkill came together for one common reason -- they believed that “Hope for the future” is the key for any organic entity to survive. The Group has a combined developmental experience of more than 50 years with each member having diverse areas of expertise. To come together was necessary as each one felt something missing in their individual efforts, and believed that a shared vision, passion and partnership is the only way to make effective change in the lives of people. Together we are committed to a journey of hope. Our Dream We will focus on creating development solutions for varied communities including the children, youth, underprivileged women and men, both in rural and in urban areas. We will provide solutions that will have immediate as well as long term positive influence on their lives and their environment. FinSkill envisions a future with an environment which facilitates individual development and helps every individual to have control over their lives and optimally realize their rights, their potential, and their dreams. FinSkill will sustain and grow through ownership by its communities. It will be a citizens’ organization for, by and of themselves. A future created by their convictions, capabilities and hope. We are mere catalysts working to hasten that change. What We Do FinSkill acts as a facilitator to ensure entitlements and dreams of citizens. At the moment FinSkil is focusing on Uttarakhand as its geographical area of work. This is a state with several challenges by virtue of its terrain and resulting remoteness.
