# Fixiigo — Jobs & Works**One-line pitch:** A local-services marketplace for India that connects customers with verified blue-collar workers — plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and more — through a fast, phone-first mobile app in three Indian languages.---## The ProblemHiring a trusted local worker in India today is broken:- Customers rely on word-of-mouth, WhatsApp groups, or random search results — no verified profiles, no accountability.- Existing platforms (UrbanCompany, etc.) skew premium-urban and city-tier-1, leaving tier-2/3 cities and the unorganized sector underserved.- Workers have no low-friction way to receive nearby job leads in their own language.## Our Solution**Fixiigo** is a phone-OTP-based marketplace mobile app where:1. A customer picks a service category (plumber, electrician, etc.) and pin-drops a location.2. The app finds nearby verified workers and sends them the job request in real time.3. A worker accepts, completes the job, and closes it with an OTP handed over by the customer.4. The customer rates the worker; the worker builds reputation across jobs.Built specifically for the Indian market: **English / Hindi / Gujarati** at launch, low data footprint, no email required, OTP-only sign-up.---## Product (live today)- **Mobile app** — Flutter, **live on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store)**; Material 3 UI.- **Customer flow** — phone OTP login → category grid → pin-drop on map → describe job + up to 5 photos → live "finding worker" radar → request tracking with status filters (Pending / Active / Completed / Cancelled).- **Worker flow** — receives job invitations, accepts/rejects, completes with customer-issued OTP.- **Real-time updates** — WebSocket (Laravel Reverb) pushes status changes to both sides instantly.- **Backend** — Laravel 13 + React admin panel at fixiigo.com, managing categories, users, workers, requests, and approvals.- **Notifications** — Firebase Cloud Messaging for job alerts and status updates.## Business ModelTwo revenue streams, both live in code:1. **Coin economy (primary).** Customers buy coins to search for workers — each worker search costs 10 coins. Coin packs range from **₹9 to ₹600**. This monetizes intent, not just transactions, and avoids the per-job commission squeeze that drives workers off competing platforms.2. **Ads (secondary).** Google AdMob is integrated for non-paying users; ads tail off as users buy coins.Future levers (already supported by the architecture): worker-side subscription for priority lead access, featured-placement listings, and category-level commission on premium services.---## Why Now / Why Us- **Underserved geography.** Tier-2/3 India is mobile-first, vernacular-first, and OTP-first. Most of the local-services category is still WhatsApp + missed-call era.- **Workers want leads, not platforms.** Our coin model passes the search cost to customers and keeps the worker's payout clean, which is the #1 reason workers churn off commission-based competitors.- **Tech moat is real-time + multilingual.** Live socket updates and three-language UX from day one are not trivial to bolt on later.## Status & Milestones**Status: Live and onboarding.** The product is fully shipped and operational; we are in the early-traction phase, actively recruiting our first cohort of verified workers.- Mobile app **live on Google Play Store and Apple App Store** — Android ID `com.fixigo.com`, version **1.0.1**- Backend & admin panel **live and operational** at fixiigo.com- Real-time worker matching, FCM push notifications, and multilingual UX (English / Hindi / Gujarati) — all in production- Coin-based monetization integrated end-to-end (payment rails ready to plug in)- Currently onboarding the first verified-worker cohort and growing customer downloads organically## Roadmap (next 6 months)- Real payment integration (currently coin purchases are simulated — ready to plug in Razorpay/UPI)- Worker-side ratings & review surfacing (`Review` model already exists on backend)- In-app chat between customer and assigned worker- Two more regional languages (Marathi, Tamil)- Expansion to `[N]` additional cities## The AskWe are **open to flexible investment** — angel cheques, early-stage funds, and strategic partners are all welcome.
