In this world of materialism, there is an intense disregard for the wellbeing of the mind. Somehow, the care that exists is never enough. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted as well exacerbated existing mental health problems. This has led to a mental health revolution where more adults are breaking free of stigma and coming forward to seek help. The next step in this revolution is to improve access to mental health resources. Young adults (aged 18-30) have the highest the prevalence of any mental illness and are more willing to seek help. Companies are also recognising the costs associated with not addressing the mental health needs of their employees and are now looking for to change the “don’t ask, don’t tell” workplace approach to a “do ask, do tell” culture. ForePsyght has joined this revolution as a mental health start-up with a platform that provides accessible and affordable psychological services to everyone, rejecting the idea that therapy is a luxury affair. We seek to use our platform to connect clients with suitable professionals based on their mental health needs. Our platform will provide affordable mental health services to all through audio/video therapy via our secure, in built video calling and chat feature, with qualified and trained professionals in their preferred language. Our premium platform also includes mental health focused features such as a dashboard (accessible by both the professional and client) detailing the clients’ issues, treatment plan, history, journals, medication and provide online access to psychological tests. It would also be accessible post treatment with additional online programs to maintain stability, focusing on a better and healthier lifestyle. We aim to become the number one mental health service provider in India.
