FPO Mitra is an initiative promoted by two professionals to address the knowledge and capacity gap in the sector. We believe, given the necessary training, skill and knowledge development, FPOs can be promoted and nurtured as a sustainable model of business that would benefit both its members (i.e., the farmers) and also the agricultural value chain. If addressed appropriately, we believe that FPOs can function as a vehicle of change and growth that the farming community has been waiting so far.
