Horticult is an online Marketplace platform using technology through an advanced website to enhance business with B2C and B2B customers in the Horticulture field i.e. all products and services related to Gardens. Horticult aims to connect garden product suppliers like nurseries, fertilizer/soil suppliers, seeds/bulb suppliers, garden décor suppliers like pots/planters etc., drip irrigation suppliers/installers, landscape designers, gardeners and transport providers on our technology platform to facilitate and enhance the reach of existing products or services. Horticult would help both individuals and nurseries, corporate customers, developers and landscape designers to procure on our website all their requirements for a garden. It would be transparent, convenient, reliable and cost-effective tool using latest version of Ruby on Rails web development technology and contemporary web design. The web technology would support dynamic interaction between stakeholders to fulfil their individual needs. For illustration a customer wanting a garden enters his requirement and uploads photos, this would be distributed to our select landscape designers who will respond with a quote. Customer after viewing the designer’s portfolio/reviews on our site agrees a fees, all further interactions are through our website to decide on design and can complete the purchase of all requirements from plants, soil, drip irrigation, garden décor and transport these to provide an end to end garden solution. Horticult will provide employment opportunities for qualified workforce.
