It offers a one-stop destination for artisan ice creams and authentic bubble teas, targeting India’s urban youth and family segments. • Market & Problem: There is a growing demand in India for novel dessert-andbeverage experiences, but existing options are siloed – ice cream parlors don’t offer trendy drinks, and tea cafes lack frozen desserts. BABI-CHA addresses this gap by fusing the two product lines. The timing is ideal, as India’s ice cream market (valued ~$3 billion in 2023) is growing ~13.5% annually , and the bubble tea segment ( ~$450 million in 2024) is projected to more than double to $930 million by 2033 , reflecting huge opportunity. • Solution & Model: BABI-CHA operates through direct retail outlets that provide a vibrant, branded in-store experience centered on quality products and a playful mascot. Each outlet offers an inviting ambiance for customers to enjoy premium ice creams and bubble teas, with a focus on product innovation, consistency, and personalized service. The brand’s differentiation lies in its unique dual offering and engaging customer experience – filling a niche not served by incumbents. • Traction & Team: The venture was officially incorporated in July 2025 and launched its first outlet (pilot) soon after. It has since achieved encouraging early traction (thousands of servings sold and strong customer reviews) and garnered a social media following that validates the concept. The founding team of three partners (Ramnath K.R.C. Kalivili, Venkata C. Penugonda, and Pulipati V.
