In recent times, rapid urbanization in India has resulted in a loss of agricultural land, leading to food shortages and inflation, as well as concerns over food security. As the population continues to grow and the land available for farming decreases, the problem is becoming more urgent. In addition, the market for vegetables and herbs is expensive and often adulterated, creating health concerns for consumers. In response to this crisis, our startup, Gardenia, aims to provide an affordable solution for people living in multi-story buildings in urban areas. Our goal is to build miniature balcony gardens that offer customers completely natural and organic herbs and vegetables, while also adding to the aesthetic beauty of their homes. By providing employment opportunities and promoting greenery and sustainability, Gardenia seeks to make a positive impact on society and the environment.
