In their own words
We are mainly based on production, processing and B2B type market supply of some special agricultural crops. Currently, we are actively conducting experiments in some rural areas of Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state, which have been successful to a great extent. Our crops mainly include Aroma, Herbal/medicinal and Spices related crops. The main reason for their selection is that some such fragrances and chemicals are found in all these crops due to which wild animals neither like to eat them nor do they cause any kind of harm to them. By cultivating these crops, we can protect the crops from wild animals without any other expenditure like fencing or guarding the borders and can get more production by reducing the cost. The main reason for farmers in hilly areas to leave farming is the damage to crops caused by wild animals and low yield and no profit in traditional farming. With the aim and objective of re-greening the barren fields in the hilly areas and restarting farming as the main source of livelihood of the farmers, we selected some special crops which were suitable to the environment and soil there and Created a mix crop model by which we do not grow only one crop in the same field at the same time like traditionally but also grow other co-crops along with the main crop. With this, farmers can earn income throughout the year by working hard and the production is many times more than that of traditional crops, which automatically increases the income. Our main objectives - 1.Production of crops suitable to the climate and soil in hilly areas. 2.To build a chain of small and medium sized processing units in village level. 3.To prepare storage facility for crops produced at village level. 4.Supplying agricultural crops as raw material and processed products in the market as B2B to big processing companies and export companies. 5.To prevent migration from the mountains in search of a source of income.
